Go Make Disciples

Matthew 28:16-20

Then the 11 disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they were shipped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

M@ssy-Bun Cable Hat (Crochet)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to show off this awesome m@ssy-bun hat I just made.   I found the post by entering what I wanted in a search engine.  I tried Pinterest with no luck because everything on Pinterest now is an ad.  I absolutely hate it.  You click on the link hoping you will see the item you clicked on, but instead, you have to sell your soul to get it.  There are so many hoops to jump through, give away your email, subscribe to a website, give your name, and others don’t even show the item it’s just an ad for something else.

I DON’T USE PINTEREST AS MUCH BECAUSE OF THAT REASON

Anyway, I checked my search engine and found this awesome m@ssy-bun cable hat by Diana Borgstrom Thank you so much!! You can also follow along with the YouTube tutorial by Yvonne Metz another Thank you!!

Stepping Into the Life

We all want that life God has planned for us, we want to step into it, live it, enjoy it and benefit from it and if we are really good, we want to bring others along.  But we must be able to ask ourselves; how do we get there, to that point where it all happens for us?

Well, how do you know it hasn’t happened?  Some of us feel as though there is something more, something more we were made for, something more we are supposed to do in life, more people we are supposed to affect, lives we are supposed to impact.  Then keep reading because God has a plan for you.

From here let’s take a look at some spiritual disciplines we need in our life in order to step into the life God planned for us.  Yes, there are things you need to be doing.  Don’t just sit there and let life happen to you, God wants to use you. It is important to know that Spiritual Disciplines are activities and not attitudes.  My eBooks focus on 40 Days of specific spiritual disciplines, the first one is ’40 Days of Focus on Godly Living’ and it is FREE.  Let’s discuss them.

Being a servant

I Peter 4:10  Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Being a servant is a theme throughout the Bible.  Mainly because Jesus was a servant and gave himself as a ransom for each of us.  The Bible tells us that we were created in the image of God and we are to strive to be like him.  How do you serve others?

  • Do you believe we all have received spiritual gifts from God?
  • What is/are your spiritual gifts?
  • How do you serve others with your gifts?
  • How do you use your gifts for God’s glory?
  • What does it mean to be a steward?
  • Do you believe being a servant is honorable in the eyes of the world?
  • Why or why not?
